Crazy busy few days!

We stayed home on Wednesday. That evening, we had tacos for dinner, and then I headed to my placenta encapsulation info session at Mama's Hip. I had 3 people there that I didn't know! Pretty exciting. :o)

On Thursday we went to Whole Foods and straight back home. When Eric got home, we gave each other a high-five and I tagged out ... haha, not really, but it felt that way. I led an oil class at a friend's house in Indiana, so I had to leave super early because of the craziness going on downtown. Only took me an hour, thank goodness. The class went very well. I'm feeling more and more confident about talking in front of people about the oils. Also got to hold a sweet 2-week old little girl. :o)

Friday, we had a playdate at our friend's house down the street, and then headed toward my mom's. We stopped at Costco and got a few things, then went to my mom's for lunch and nap. I napped, too - almost 2 hours! Felt amazing. Back at home, we had pizza for dinner (I only had one piece) and I showered and headed out to GNO around 7. Had a ball, and was home around 10:45 ... Violet was awake and playing in the (clean) diaper drawer. She nursed and went back to sleep easily.

Saturday, I left home around 9:45 and I stopped in the Highlands to pick up Birth Care Network stuff for the Whole Body Health Fair at Whole Foods. I volunteered to sit at the table from 11 to 3, with one other woman. It was a good experience, good for people watching, and I gave out some cards to a few people. Shortly after I arrived home, we headed to a friend's house for a birthday party. We enjoyed some food and adult conversation (though the kids were entertaining, too), and we were home by bedtime. After I put Violet down, I left to go start a placenta. Thank goodness it was only a few miles away, because I was worn out ... and slept well when it was finally bedtime.

This morning, we didn't get out of bed until 8:30. It was great! After a short  breakfast, I headed out to finish the placenta. When I got back, we played a little and went to Mark's for lunch. Naps were had by all this afternoon. :o) Then we played until dinner - steaks, kale, and corn on the cob. After putting Violet down, I watched some olympic gymnastics videos on youtube with Duncan. Haha! It was fun. :o) Then I left to talk to a childbirth class, and now I'm home. Phew.

I was going to have something to do tomorrow night, too (class reunion meeting), but I just found out it's being postponed until next week. I'm relieved!

Don't have much on the agenda this week. We're picking up our chicken this week (5 whole and 10 cut up), so I'm looking forward to having it on our dinner menu again. On Thursday, I'm meeting with a chiropractor/friend to discuss getting some oils. Woohoo. :o)

Violet will be 15 months on Wednesday! Duncan's walking really took off one week after he turned 15 months, so I'm interested to see how Violet does. She hasn't shown much interest in walking on her own, and unless she's in a very good mood, refuses to stand and walk to us. It's not far off, though!
