Violet is smiling so much these days. I love it.

The carpet is going to be installed this week! So excited! It's going to look ah-may-zing.

Duncan has good days and bad days. I'm working very hard on being patient with him, keeping my voice calm, and figuring out what he's trying to tell me. Today was a good day. He made a train out of our kitchen chairs, and then he played with a big bowl of rice/pasta/other random things while I cleaned out/organized the pantry, our spice cabinet, and our Ikea cabinets. He also put spices into the bowl. It was kind of a mess, but he had fun and was occupied for at least an hour, so I was happy. We went to Target and Duncan behaved very well there, too. I gave in and bought him some pull-ups. He's peed on his potty several times, but the past few days he's been holding his pee, so we're trying not to push anything. It's exciting when he actually goes by himself, though!

I convinced Eric to try something new that I am certain that it will save us money ... GreenB.E.A.N. Delivery. We are getting our first delivery on Thursday and I can't wait! Eric is not nearly as excited about it - he tends to be pretty leery of things that cost money in general (which, in reality, I am extremely thankful for because I know we'd have nothing without him), so I have a month, maybe two, to prove to him that this really is a good idea. I'm excited for lots of reasons: many, many, many less trips to the grocery (saving gas), no chance to impulse buy, and the majority of the foods are local and/or organic. In my opinion, there's no negative to this at all, but of course I have to prove it first. :o)

Trying to keep myself busy during the week. It's getting easier to stay at home since Duncan can play by himself a lot, but I still like to tire him out if I can. On Tuesdays we've been going to a friend's house where he can play outside for about two hours - swinging, playing in the kid pool and with sand, and just running around. Wednesday mornings we're doing music at 11:00, and I can sign up for parent-child at Waldorf on Thursdays if I want to, but I have yet to do that.

I'm feeling pretty good in general about being a mommy of two - I'm able to get dinner ready and keep up with the laundry (most weeks). Cleaning is where I have the most trouble, but I'm getting there.

I've lost 10.2 pounds so far with Weight Watchers. I have 35 pounds to go. Hoping to be there by November. Can't WAIT to fit in my jeans! I'm wearing skirts almost every day, but I love wearing skirts, so I can't complain too much.

It sounds like everything there is going pretty well. Yesterday, we went to a mom's group in the new town where we'll be living. This group meets on Mondays, so on Tuesday and either Wednesday or Friday, we go to MoCo. I can't put dinner on the table or keep up with the dishes every day, but I am trying.

Have a great week!

I have issues getting dinner on the table now and I just have a very large fetus. (Actually I'm sure she's just a normal-sized fetus she's just a very advanced one.) Someone said though that it's just part of late pregnancy and after baby's born I'll get energy to do things again?! I hope they're right. ; )
