The days are flying by!
We had a lazy weekend. Didn't leave the house on Saturday, and on Sunday we had breakfast with my parents and lunch with Eric's. Nice Mother's Day. Not calm, but I didn't expect it to be that way.
Stayed home yesterday - I was proud of myself!
Today we finally made it downtown to apply for Violet's birth certificate and all of that good stuff.
We lost power tonight for about an hour and a half - totally random. It wasn't windy or stormy at all.
The past 2 nights Duncan has decided to not go to sleep until 9:00, even though bedtime has remained at the same time - 7:00. He's not being loud or crying; he's just playing up there. He enjoys looking out the window and knocking and waving at people. It's really cute, but not so much when he needs to go to sleep. :o)
Violet is doing very well. She looks bigger to me every day! Nights are still going pretty well - last night was a little rough. She goes to sleep the easiest in a carrier and likes to be upright as much as possible when she is not eating, so sometimes I have to sit up and bounce her to get her to sleep (if she doesn't fall asleep nursing). Last night Eric "shared the frustration" with me and took her downstairs in the carrier and let me sleep for a few hours. I feel like she's been here forever ... but then I realize that she's only 3 weeks old. It's a weird feeling.
