Goodies

We traveled to IKEA today in search of a 'big boy bed' for Duncan, and we came home with lots of goodies. This is what we ended up with:
Originally we were going to go with the Kura bed (google it), but after looking at it and thinking about Duncan's climbing abilities, we decided against it. This bed can be as short as a crib, or as long as a regular twin mattress. The mattress that we bought is "extendable," and it comes with two additional "blocks" to add as the bed/child grow. It's pretty dang cute, too.
My mom also bought Duncan's Christmas present:
Pretty cute, huh? :o)
Eric just started a new project - building a recessed cabinet for the tv. Here's what it looks like right now:
Hopefully it looks a lot different by Sunday!

1 Observations or Opinions:
Sam has that same table, waiting for some paint in his new room soon. I didn't get the chairs yet because I was hoping to find something else, but haven't had luck so far.
Looks like you scored some good deals! Don'tchya love Ikea?!
