Baby's first x-rays

Yesterday was not a fun day. It started out okay - we headed to the zoo and saw the new sea lion and seal exhibit. We headed to the playground and as I headed down the slide with Duncan on my lap (I had to go get him since he wanted to play on the 'big kid' playground), his leg got stuck on the side of the slide and bent back too far. I had to carry him out of the zoo while pushing the stroller and with him screaming. I felt ... feel awful about it. We ended up at the x-ray place around 1:30. Duncan did not enjoy the x-rays. He screamed really hard. His knee is sprained and he can't stand up. It is so sad! He napped from 3 to 5 when we got home, and I headed out toe La Leche League as soon as Eric got home.
2 Observations or Opinions:
Ugh, that sounds HORRIBLE! So glad you guys made it through that. I think it's harder on the parents sometimes, because you have to watch your child in pain and you can't explain it to them. Hope Duncan heals quickly:o)
