2 under 2

I have new respect for those women who stay at home with 2 babies under 2 (not that I don't also have respect for those with 2 that are not under 2) ... unless it was an accident, and then I just have (some) empathy for them. Today was not nearly as hard as it was when I was home alone with Duncan when he was 2 weeks old. That just comes from experience. I felt confident - when he cried, I fed him or changed him, and when those things were done, he went in the carrier (my EllaRoo wrap in Christiane) for a nap. The hardest parts of the day (besides waiting for the breastmilk to thaw, which seems to take forever with a screaming baby in your arms) were when Duncan wanted something and I couldn't respond to him. I felt so guilty. I guess that's just something moms have to get used to ... it's so hard! Other than that, the day went better than expected. I may even venture out to the grocery tomorrow morning if I'm feeling brave!
Duncan's feeling much better. He walked around a lot today, and the limp progressively got better. He even refused his afternoon nap and was in good spirits until bedtime! We think it's because he's happy he can walk again!
Time to relax ... I'm exhausted!

OMG!Don't go to the grocery store unless it's a quick trip. Something about the grocery store and little ones is not a good mix! ;)
