Last night, we had a nice dinner with Matt and Trisha at Rocky's across the river. We sat outside, and the food was good ... except for Matt's spaghetti that was cut up into pieces like he was 5 years old. Haha! So he asked for some new spaghetti that he could actually twirl. After dinner, we had Pie Kitchen because Trisha had never been there! Yummy, as always, and thank you to my parents for babysitting.
This morning, we headed to Beargrass Christian for the farmer's market. We bought some green beans, potatoes, zucchini, peaches, apples, and a cantaloupe. After that, we visited my friends at ValuMarket and bought a few more things, then headed home for lunch and naptime. For dinner, we had green beans, a roasted whole chicken (in the crock pot, of course!), and couscous, and we invited Diana over to eat with us. There was a big storm during dinner; Duncan enjoyed it, but our bay window ceiling did not and it leaked. Nooooooooooo! So frustrating. It hasn't leaked in over a year!
I ordered a double stroller today. I will need one for Landon when I start taking care of him during the day on Wednesday (thought the stroller won't be here by then), and we will need one eventually, anyway. This is the one we chose: City Mini Double Stroller. I've read lots of reviews, and we 'tested' it at a store here (I think it's the only store in the state that carries them), and we really like it. I like the side-by-side strollers better, and this one only weighs 26 pounds! Duncan looked comfortable in it, too.
Tomorrow: Church, lunch, nap, family.
