I decided to celebrate a bit after ending my time with Weight Watchers, but I'm back on track now. I've said this before, but I have serious issues with social eating. I have absolutely no power against it, and I think it runs in my family! So, I've gained about 5 pounds, but I'm okay with that.
We had a fabulous time with Seth, Jeanine and Liam while they were here. The weather did not cooperate, but we all managed to spend a lot of time together and enjoy each other's company. The girls got pedicures, and the "parents" got to go out to dinner without the children. It was so nice!
Voces Novae ended it's 17th season on Sunday with the best concert that I've been a part of yet. I felt more prepared and more engaged during the concert than any other one. I still have not decided about next year ... I'm torn about it. If things go as planned, I'll be taking care of Landon until April or May of next year, and I don't want to be stressed out about extra rehearsals and concerts, etc.
Perhaps the most exciting development of the past 2 weeks is that Duncan is now officially walking. I really think that Liam had an impact on his decision to just get up and start walking, because it came out of nowhere. One day he took 2 or 3 steps, and then the next he was walking across the room and all around the kitchen. He also likes to cry these days when he does not get his way, and sometimes it's so hard not to laugh.
At this very moment, Duncan is refusing to nap. Hopefully he will sleep because I am dropping him off later so I can get my haircut.
