Duncan woke up a little late today, but we will never complain about that. Eric left for work at 8:10 or so, and Duncan and I had some oatmeal and raisins for breakfast. We quickly left for Whole Foods to get our grocery shopping finished so we could get out of the cold for the day. It was quite a task to get Duncan in the beco while seated in the back of the car, get his hat and Bloak on, then get my diaper bag on and grab my reusable bags. I wish I had taken more advantage of grocery shopping before Duncan was born. It was SOOOO much easier! I wouldn't trade him for anything, though. :o)

Back at home, Duncan went down for a nap at 10:30, and I folded laundry and started the minestrone soup in the crock pot for dinner. Duncan woke up at 12:15 and we had lunch. I had PB&J and an apple, and Duncan had some peas and carrots, cheese, and some apple. We played for another hour and he seemed to get tired at 2:00, so he went back down for a nap and slept until 4:00! That was a nice surprise. I started the bread bowls for dinner and did a few things online.

Eric got home at 5:30 and dinner was just about ready. The soup in bread bowls turned out so well. I was afraid my dough wouldn't rise, but they definitely did! I don't have the "cutting technique" down, but I was pretty proud of them. :o)
I've had a bad sinus headache the past two nights, so I didn't go to choir tonight. Hopefully it will go away soon.

My parents finally made the leap and bough tickets to Europe. They're leaving for Berlin on the 27th and will be gone until February 17th. I'm a little bummed about them missing Duncan's birthday, but I'm not planning on having a party, anyway; and this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for them, so they need to go. I'm so excited for them!

The rest of this week looks to be much more of the same ... nothing too exciting, but loving every minute of every day with my little man. :o)
