Climbing

On Thursday, I visited the Parent-Child class at Waldorf. They had this large wooden "boat" that you can flip over and it becomes steps. Well, I set Duncan in front of those steps, put a toy on the top one, and he got up on his feet and proceeded to climb right on up. I couldn't believe my eyes! It become apparent that we need some things at home for Duncan to practice with! So we are building a smaller version of one of these boats.

Weight Watchers was a success this week: 2.8 pounds! Bringing the total to 39 pounds. I have exactly 15 to go before I get to my goal weight. I am hoping to reach lifetime membership before the end of the year!

Last night, thanks to Diana, Eric and I went out for a short date night. We had dinner at BoomBozz and a nice dessert at Pie Kitchen. This was the first time that anyone besides myself or Eric to bed (although I think my mom did one time), so it was a big deal for everyone involved. :o) I did just fine, though ... and Duncan went to bed just fine!

This morning we went to church, and now we're back home so Duncan can nap and we can all get some things done around the house. We woke up to the ceiling in the kitchen leaking again. :o( Not good. So we have to fix that ASAP in case we have people who want to see the house. Eric has gone to Home Depot to get something in order to install our new diaper sprayer. Duncan is eating very well now, and his diapers are no longer water soluble. Sort of sad, but we knew it would happen some day!

This week is one of my very favorites of the year: St. James, my birthday, Chrissy will visit, and (this doesn't happen every year) I'm getting my hair cut. I've decided to chop it all off ... kind of drastic, but it will always grow back if I don't like it!

Sounds like a lot of fun in your life! I love your hair now, don't chop:( But like you said it will grow back if you don't like it.

I liked my hair when I first got it cut, but it's grown out and I'm tired of it. Plus since I've lost a bunch of weight, I'm ready for something new!
