Sustainable Mommy

Your first trip to Lexington went pretty well. I wasn't sure if you'd nap while we were there, but you took two 45 minute naps! Better than nothing. You whined almost the whole way home in the car ... I told grandma and grandpa (or whatever they're called) that they may want to get some earplugs for the car trip next week because your shrill screams can hurt the ears sometimes. :o)

We had a great weekend with daddy. On Saturday we had our Bradley Class reunion and had a wonderful time. We also got a Hotsling from Mama's Hip and I'm pretty sure that you love it. I love it, too - it's a lot less material than the Moby, and therefore a lot cooler. Plus, it's pretty easy to put on.

On Sunday we had some friends over, Abby and Troy and their 18-month old, Anna. She is so cute! We grilled some turkey burgers and had some baked beans and chips. Yummy.

Monday I went to playgroup and learned about starting solids. I also auditioned for Voces Novae again and I'm back in. Yay for mommy. :o)

Yesterday I got my hair chopped off because you keep pulling on it. I also got it highlighted and I love it!

We don't have any plans for your first 4th of July, but I'm sure we'll figure out something. I think you're too young for fireworks, and plus they'll be going off way past your bedtime.

Right now you're napping and I'm going to shower and attempt to style my new 'do.
