Sustainable Mommy

Since I have been trying to go somewhere every day, Duncan does not nap in his crib. He naps in the Moby or Beco only. Well, I sort of decided that this isn't a wonderful thing, so yesterday I stayed home (thankfully with my mom to help) and had Duncan nap in the crib. The morning was great - he got up at 7, napped from 8 to 9, and then from 10:50 to 11:20. He also napped from 12:50 to 1:20. That was pretty much it for the naps, though. He fought it the rest of the day. I always thought that the worse a baby napped during the day, the worse he slept at night. Well, I guess that's not really the case for Duncan, because we put him to bed at 8 and did not hear a sound from him until 6:06 a.m. I fed him in the nursery and put him back down at 6:30, and he slept until 7:30. AMAZING. My breasts, however, were about to explode, so I had to pump at 5:30. Totally worth it, though. He is now napping again (at least I think he is - I don't hear anything!).

Last night for dinner we went to Calistoga with my parents. We picked up our numbers and tshirts for the Run Throo the Zoo tomorrow morning, and we saw some animals. We saw Papa John himself in the restaurant (his wife owns the chain), and my mom talked to him. She's not afraid to go up and talk to people. That's awesome. :o)

After we were home and Duncan was in bed, we watched "Hell's Kitchen." Season Finale next week! :o)

We have a very busy weekend. Hopefully Duncan is pleasant during most of it!
