Weekend

I didn't realize I hadn't posted since last Wednesday! It seems like yesterday.
On Wednesday night, we had dinner with Eric's parents. We had a nice time. We also put Duncan in his first Bum Genius diaper and haven't looked back! :o) We've done 2 loads of diapers and so far everything is going great. I stuffed them this morning while I was nursing. :o)
Wednesday night was kind of a rough night, so I stayed home on Thursday to rest.
On Friday, I met mom at the mall for lunch, and we walked around. Duncan slept the whole time in the Moby. :o) That night, we didn't do anything except relax. It is beginning to worry me that he'll only fall asleep in the Moby or while nursing, but I just have to keep reminding myself that he's only 3 weeks old!
I was worried about the weekend because I had so much choir stuff, but it all went really well. I had rehearsal from 1 to 4 on Saturday, and Eric had him back in the "crying room" the whole time. He was fine! We went to Heather's house afterward just to visit, and Elizabeth and Charlie were there with Coralie, as well. It was a bit hectic because all of the other kids were there, too, but it went just fine.
Yesterday, we had our concert, and it went better than expected - especially since I missed practically an entire month of rehearsals. After the concert, mom, Eric, Duncan, and myself went to Calistoga to pick up some food, then headed to their house to eat it. We stayed there for a few hours last night while Eric worked on our taxes. Duncan would NOT stay asleep for a nap - he was pretty up awake from 4:30 to at least 10 or so. There were a few short naps in there, but I got pretty frustrated because he wouldn't eat, either. He finally fell asleep nursing around midnight. The rest of the night was fine. I don't even remember now how many times I wake up to nurse him. LOVING the Bum Genius, too, because there have been several nights when I don't even have to get up to change him in the middle the night.
I was in bed/folding clothes/nursing until noon today. Oops. But I also got a shower in there, and got some things picked up. Our sheets are in the dryer, our clothes are in the washer, and I even made myself some lunch. Duncan's currently in the Moby, and I'm sitting here rocking in the chair. I would vacuum, but I don't think I should attempt to carry the vacuum down the stairs with a baby on my chest.
Not much on the agenda for this week, with the exception of a few visitors maybe. Jan is visiting from Mexico, so we'll see her this weekend, Marianne arrives on Thursday, and Kristina may also stop by one day. Oh, and I might go meet Kyla and Diana for lunch somewhere downtown one day, too.
Duncan will be one month old on Friday. Wow.

3 Observations or Opinions:
Wow, I didn't know they made Bum Genius in Eric's size;)
One more thing...you know to wash the diapers every other day right? Otherwise they get an ammonia build up and it's hard to get it out. Just want to make sure you knew...I'm sure you did:)
can't believe i finally get to meet him!!! i can't wait!!
