One month!!!

I can't believe it's been a month since Duncan's birth. Fastest month of my life!
We're figuring out Duncan's signals and learning what he wants. I know his "hungry cry" and his "uncomfortable cry." The tired cry is just pitifully precious - it's not really a cry at all. :o) We've had a series of bad nights, but last night was okay. We went to bed at 11, then nursed at 1, 3:30, and 5:30, and then again when Eric left. I'm going to miss the early morning sunshine once the time changes on Sunday.
Yesterday I went downtown and had lunch with Diana, Kyla, and the little boy the Kyla nannys (is that right?) for, William. He is such a good little boy - Kyla has taught him such good manners, and I hope that Duncan is just as well behaved. :o) Lunch as nice, too - Duncan slept in the Moby the whole time. Then he screamed in the car the whole way home because he was hungry. That was pleasant. Last night we went to the grocery and that was another successful trip with no crying. Yay!
Marianne is coming over today to meet Duncan, and Eric is coming home for lunch. Should be a good day - especially since it's Friday!
My poor dad has the flu. My mom took him to PromptCare this morning because she's afraid it was going to his ears or something, so I'm waiting to hear back.
I got Duncan to fall asleep in my arms (Jeanine - he really likes that position that Becky used to hold Lucy, that football-hold-looking thing) and then successfully put him down in the playard, and that's where he is right now. I'm going to use these few precious minutes to clean up a little bit.
