Sustainable Mommy

Time is flying by! And time is precious. I had to be ready to leave this morning, baby and all, by 10:45, and I did it all by myself! I even managed to get a shower in there. I had a doctor's appointment at 11:30. I won't go into details, but let's just say that it wasn't pleasant. I have another appointment in 2 weeks. Hey, at least I can drive now! And several nurses commented on what a big boy Duncan is. :o) After my appointment, I headed to mom's, nursed Duncan, and then we went to Mitchell's for lunch. Conveniently, Duncan fell asleep in the car on the way there and he slept all through lunch ... and all through our walk around Target ... and all the way home. He fell asleep at 1:30 and he's still asleep. He's starting to stir, though.

We are attempting to go to choir tonight. I'm sure it will be fine - I'll stay until it's over; I just may have to sit out and nurse Duncan during some of the rehearsal. Eric is coming with me, thank goodness.

The nights have been going really well. I shouldn't say much or I'll jinx it. Last night he slept from 10:30 to 2:30, and then on and off for the rest of the night. I feel pretty rested, as does Eric.

Random - Meredith Vieira (sp?) is on Ellen right now, and she said that she gets up at 2:30am. Wow.

I have some other things to do online before baby wakes up, so that's all for now.
