Sustainable Mommy

Those are the words I used to describe the pediatrician that we met with this morning. He was an older gentleman ... kind of boring to listen to, really. I want someone younger and more energetic! So we'll see what the next place we visit has in store. The office was really nice, though!

I got to work at 9:45. Marla was still sick today, and Lenny had to leave for a video at 3, so I had a few hours to myself. Those quiet afternoons are always nice. :o)

I hurried to mom's house to shower and head to the Olmsted for our Voces Novae Gala. I had such a wonderful time. I love being in thie group - it fits me so well! We rehearsed for a few minutes, then had time with friends and family before dinner. We sang 5 songs after dinner and then listened to Harry speak a little bit about music and life and all of that good stuff. I enjoy listening to him speak so much!

Being in the Olmsted was also a little nostalgic -it brought up lots of wonderful memories from prom night. So much has changed, but I'm still with the most amazing person in the world. :o) Okay, enough sappiness ...
