You're absolutely right. After about 2pm we have direct sunlight in 7 windows along the back of the house. With the pergola alone that blocks about 90% of the light in 2 windows so that will definitely help with cooling the place.
When are you coming over to build our deck???
If you can get K and me to Strasbourg I'll build you the baddest French deck you've ever seen!
Unbelievable. That is really nice. All I could ever build is a crooked work bench.
