Sustainable Mommy

I dreamed that I was at the Dave Matthews concert (he's playing at Slugger Field tonight) and the lobby was my Doctor's office. I was scheduled for my 16 week appointment, so I had to stay out there until she called me. Then I could go to the concert. Eric stayed at the concert while I went back. We found the heartbeat and the doctor made a funny face. Then I begged her for an ultrasound to see if we could tell what the baby is, since at my 16 week appointment I will actually be 16 weeks and 5 days. She agreed, and I went in the room to get set up. In the dream, I remember thinking, "Don't let my alarm go off before I find out, please!" And then my alarm went off. OF COURSE. Haha.

Yesterday morning was rough, but the afternoon was much better. I kept doing work and I wasn't making any progress because we kept getting more in. I should hopefully be able to make some progress today! In the afternoon, though, I got through several worker's comps and shortened the stack a little bit. But I'm not too worried about it ... it's Friday and our party is tonight. Yay! Last night we cleaned, put up our outdoor curtains, and just got ready for tonight. Marianne came over, too, and that was nice. We're pretty boring, but it was fun to just hang out and talk. :o)
