Not to be a downer ...

I don't mean to be a downer, but it has to be mentioned ... that today was my due date for the baby we lost in February. It's weird that I'm already 17 weeks pregnant again, but I still think about the baby we lost pretty often.
Currently, I am watching Eric paint the nursery. :o)
On Friday, we went to Lowe's and looked at paint colors, and spent the rest of the evening at Robley's watching some Will Ferrell and then "Grumpy Old Men."
Yesterday, we cleaned up and prepared the office for the futon. We also posted the bed and dresser on craigslist. We went to the mall and I got some dresses and we also went to Michael's and bought a stencil for the nursery. We met Robley at Schlotzsky's and we bought them dinner for helping us with moving the futon from my parent's house to our house. After that was finished, we had some ice cream at Pie Kitchen.
Today, we bought paint and also successfully sold the bed and dresser. The money goes to my mom, but that's okay. :o) Eric is pretty much half way finished with painting the room, but he'll probably want to do a second coat. The color is pretty close to our guest bathroom upstairs, but that doesn't matter to me. I still love it, and it'll look awesome with black furniture and whatever else we decide to decorate with!
Not sure how busy it will be at work this week. We'll have to wait and see. But next weekend we're going camping - yay!

1 Observations or Opinions:
Very very normal for you to think of the baby you lost. Especially on the due date. I still think about the one we lost. The due date was Christmas eve and I was almost distraught because no one seemed to remember (I look back now and realize how unreasonable it was for me to expect that). It gets easier.
I'm so excited for you guys and your new little blessing! How wonderful that you have that to look forward to!
