Just the beginning

I just spent way too much at Lowes. I have a delivery of lumber scheduled to arrive either tomorrow or Monday at the latest, and I brought home a bunch of nails, screws, bolts and other misc. hardware. I'm really excited because now with all the stuff in my garage I'll have good reason to work on it instead of lying around each evening. I spent a little more than I wanted but we added a nice size pergola at the last minute, as well as I bought a corded drill because I absolutely needed one for the deck. Plus my cordless is done working. I can still use it but only with a severe chance of electric shock or burn. Not worth it.
Katherine is still in Danville and will be until late tonight. She is having fun and meeting new people so that is always a good thing. Her mom is there too so good for them. I wish I could see her concert but I can't see driving down there for 1.5 hours and then driving back. I need to dig some holes today but I haven't called the "Call before you dig" people. I know there are no lines out there because its in the back of the house and I watched them lay all the lines when the house was built. So I may start anyway. We'll see. I have the garage cleaned out for lumber storage and all that is left is to replace the blade on the miter saw. Diana used it last before she left it at our place, and she tried to cut some metal cabinet rails with it...tsk tsk. So needless to say, its slightly dulled.
I can't wait to hear Katherine get home tonight and climb into bed. I'll sleep well tonight.
