Thats how much I saved on tonight's trip to Kroger. Of course its all a sham anyway since they most likely jack up the prices. So lets say I saved 20% and they raised the price the remaining 11%. But still, I get the nice high of saving money for the ride home. Everything I bought tonight was at a reduced price except for a few things...zucchini and broccoli and parsley. I got:

Tuna cups (2 for $3 and $.55 off that), salmon cups, broccoli, zucchini, parsley, chicken tenderloins ($5.99, regularly $10.99 so I got 2 bags!), low fat cottage cheese, eggs (just hardboiled them), mushrooms, pineapple, katherine's gum (2 for $3, and a $1 off coupon, so 50 cents for 3 packs!), milk, razor for katherine and razor cartridges(free with aforementioned razor), and probably some other things too. But it was a good trip. And before that I met Katherine for a good dinner and some extracurricular shopping. Fun times are to be had by all. Oh, and that Parsley is for Rob. "Parsley is the Miracle spice! How can you not have parsley? Parsley is the Miracle spice!" Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think parsley is technically an herb, not a spice. But given the source of the comment I don't doubt the mistake.

I have some immediate work to do starting tomorrow once Matt gets back. He and Trisha had some super early contractions but that scare is over and she is back home. She had to cancel her Jack Fry's internship for the second time. DOH! And we have a huge kickoff meeting starting tomorrow for the new 2010 program. If anyone is looking for an engineering job let me know. Probably can't you past the external hiring freeze, but I can try. Its tough to find good talent inside now with the recent downsizing, plus no one is allowed to cross product lines borders it seems. So the pickings are slim for the last spot on our team. But I think it will be filled soon. I know Rob is talking to Jim about it and he would be perfect for it, but I doubt he would leave RAC.

Okay, that is it. I have some chicken baking now for Katherine and the hard boiled eggs are done. House starts at 9, and I doubt I'll get to watch CSI tonight. But thats okay, the alternative is much better. (Sorry Calleigh and Natalia, I'll miss you till next Monday)

as long as it doesn't involve house plant (aka cilantro...excuse me while I gag for a moment), I think any seasoning is ok...
