The weeks are flying by. Christmas will be here before we know it.
I worked at Loft last Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. On Friday night we had dinner at Moby Dick. :o) I ran on Thursday, but didn't have time the rest of the week.
On Saturday after work, I headed to grandma's because my parents and Eric were packing up the apartment. It's so sad! After work at Loft that same day, I went to BDubs for the UofL game and to see Marianne and Lindsy, but they were extremely intoxicated, so I didn't stay too long. Once at home, Eric and I watched "The Pursuit of Happyness." I enjoyed it, but only because I knew that there was a happy ending. It was a rather sad movie other than that fact.
On Sunday morning, Eric came with me to a Young 20s/Post College Bible Study at Southeast. The particular ministry for this age group has their own service and everything - I enjoyed it a lot! Not sure Eric did, but he is supporting me on my spiritual journey. :o) There is a retreat the first weekend of October that he said he would do with me, but I don't want to force him into anything. There's also a night out at Huber's on October 12th, so maybe we'll do that. After the Bible Study, we met Marianne and her mom at Mimi's for lunch, then headed to grandma's to finish packing everything up. We loaded up the truck and went to mom and dad's house where we unloaded everything again. We all had dinner at Carrabba's and then Eric and I came home. We cleaned up the house a little bit and then went to bed.
Monday, I went to the bank, to lunch at Jason's Deli with mom and Marianne, to get my nails done, to Loft, and then to see grandma. Then I picked up Jack from the vet because we had him neutered. He is doing just fine - wouldn't know he'd had any kind of surgery at all! I went home and showered and got ready for choir, went to that, and then came home and went to bed.
I started feeling sick on Sunday morning ... it's gotten worse over the past few days. I came home an hour early from work yesterday and slept until Bible Study. Today I came home an hour early and have been sleeping since 1:00. I think it's just sinuses, but we'll see. Hopefully rest will make it go away!
Jesica bought me a Bible! She is so sweet. It's purple and it has my name on it. I'm so glad that we've become friends. :o) I talked about wanting my own Bible, and she went out and got me one. I am loving the Bible Study and all of the things I've been doing at Southeast. I feel ... joyful. :o)
