Blessed

I felt blessed today ... for many reasons.
Although I've barely started the Bible Study, I already feel really good about it. Wonderful, really. I am excited and looking forward to seeing what happens! Don't worry, I won't get all crazy. :o) Jesica left me a note when she left yesterday about what she was going to work on for Thursday when she comes in (she was off today), and at the very end she wrote "Jesus loves you!" Every time I thought about that today, it put a smile on my face. It's an amazing feeling that I get. I can't explain it. I mean, today I was really stressed out, but I just had to think of that and it calmed me down. Weird ... but cool. So for that I feel blessed.
After work I went running and I felt blessed because of the weather! It was so gorgeous and only 80 degrees. Still kind of warm for running in the middle of the day, but it was nice. When I got home, I started a big pot of chili and cooled off. Eric surprised me with two movies! He rented "The Pursuit of Happyness" and "The Queen." We're about an hour into "The Queen," but we have plenty of time to finish them. We enjoyed our chili while we watched the movie.
My uncle Ron came over to play with our cats ... he wants one but my aunt is allergic. He was here about two hours and it was nice. :o) Don't get to see him very much because he is somewhat antisocial within our family. He left just a little while ago and I did my Bible Study for the night. Now it's time for bed.
Grandma went to see the doctor today ... probably for the last time. :o( He upped her dosage for the extremely strong pain pill, and also prescribed a morphine drip. Please keep her in your prayers.
Tomorrow: work, run, nap, work, home. :o)

5 Observations or Opinions:
Did you mean to imply that Grandma is not going to see the doctor ever again? I don't think things are that bad yet, are they?
Also, I find it quite ironic that we are both attending religious classes and are feeling it rather than just being informed. Very interesting, indeed.
Grandma sees the doctor again in 4 weeks. she was prescribed morphine liquid for her breakthrough pain. not a drip yet
I am thrilled that you both are seeking ..just what I hoped for..I failed you all there ..and I have told you why.
Mom
I didn't know there was a difference between a morphine drip and morphine liquid. That makes me feel a little better.
And yes, it is very interesting, indeed. :o)
Alright. No more saying "Very interesting, indeed.
It weirds me out. Makes me think of like an old mystery movie or something....you know, while the detective is stroking his beard.
liquid morphine you take by mouth and it's a little bit weaker because it doesn't have great oral bioavaliability
