Sustainable Mommy

Monday and Tuesday at work were insanely busy ... haven't had days like that since around Thanksgiving. I did not really enjoy it, but it made the day go by quickly. Everyone and their mother wants fried chicken since it was so close to the 4th (Happy 4th!), and plus, all the full time people have an extra day off this week. In addition one of our people is off completely, so it makes a huge difference. Luckily, I only have two more days of this, and then I am off the entire weekend!

On Monday after work, I met mom and dad at the Summit for "linner" and good conversation. Afterwards, I took a nap at mom and dad's until Eric came over and we came home shortly after that. Yesterday after work, I went straight to mom's to nap and then got ready for work at Loft. I am going to stop taking my card to work because I keep buying stuff. I am finished for the month! But what I got is really cute. :o) Anyway, after that work, I met Eric and Lindsy and Molly at BDubs for some drinks and food. I actually tried a new drink (for me) called a Hurricane, and I really liked it! So yay to me for trying a new beverage. Good times were had by all and I loved spending time with Molly and Lindsy. Molly is finally 21! :o) Also, there is no smoking in Louisville now in the restaurants and bars, so the whole smoke free thing was very pleasant!

Today ... we were going to go hiking, but I think that's off the planning board for now. Who knows what we will do, but it doesn't matter too much. I just want to do something fun!
