Good week

The end of the week was really good - fast, productive, and lots of learning experience. Work at Ann Taylor Loft on Tuesday and Wednesday was just orientation stuff - filling out paperwork, learning about policies, stuff like that. On Wednesday, mom and I had lunch at QDoba with Eric and then I took advantage of my discount ... got some good stuff, but I am going to return two things. Next week I am working Monday and Wednesday nights at the mall for "register training" and then a week from today I am working at the Summit to help set up the store. It should be fun. :o)

On Thursday night, Eric and I took a very long walk to Kyle's new house where we met his sweet six month old puppy, Buddy. We also watched the National Spelling Bee. I like the word "cyanophycean." On Friday, we went to dinner at Red Robin with Rob and Ashley (very tasty) and watched "Music and Lyrics" at their apartment. Saturday at work, I committed myself to making a new Cake Inventory Binder. It took pretty much all day, but I feel so much better now that I am organized. I still haven't gone through the picks (they are organized by holiday), but that shouldn't take too long. We also received our new airbrush compressor yesterday and it is beautiful! It was like Christmas at work, hehe. At the very end of the day, I typed up a info sheet about our cakes that we are going to set next to our kit flip book. It was a very good day!

Last night we had dinner with my parents and I tried on dresses at Ann Taylor (not Loft) and I found the PERFECT dress for many occasions this summer - wedding in two weeks, rehearsal dinner, maybe another wedding. It's navy blue and calf length and .... it's a size 6. Hehe. I've NEVER owned a dress in a size 6. Pretty exciting. :o)

Alright, lunch time. Eric made me an omelet. How sweet!
