Yeah, this post has nothing to do with cow dung. Its strictly the rant of a lonely guy sitting at home. So I got home early today because Larry was supposed to meet me at 5 to sign some papers regarding our 10 month warrnaty fix. Of course, I can't find him, and frankly I don't care. He can find me next time...on my schedule. No more trying to help out him or McBride in general. I wouldn't denounce them to anyone that asked, but they seriously need to work on their public relations policy if they ever think they will retain customers and grow their business.
So then I was also gonna meet Rob and some of his coworkers at Bdubs for dinner. But I missed that because I was waiting here...so I definitely missed 2 birds with one stone on that one. Yeah, sayings don't always work in reverse, but it was worth a try.
And then to top it off the hose that we 'borrowed' from the subdivision had a leak in it and was just sitting in the yard today when Katherine got home. SO, I don't remember if I left the faucet open last night, and the pressure in the hose just broke it today? or if someone was using our water. I know you're thinking that isn't likely, but it has happened several times...with Mexican workers using our water cuz they don't know any better. So I let that dry and put some duct tape on it....it works alright under no pressure, but it squirts a bit around the tape when you put the sprayer on it. So it will be good as a general hose, but not a sprinkler. So that blows...of course I didn't buy it, but McBride bought it for the new sod that was put down...which is partly in my yard so I have been using it. I guess it doesn't matter since the damn sprinkler I borrowed stopped spinning yesterday. So what the hell...don't buy cheap shit at Home Depot, it doesn't last.
So yeah, that is my rant. Plus the credit card is too high, the cat won't stop stepping on my lap and I feel guilty moving her off, my pasta water is heating up and I haven't finished this post, I only have one sprinkler and the stupid High Pressure front won't let it rain even though its Spring, I still have to decide about my new job :/, and I miss my wife.
On a positive note, Rob is gonna try and hook me up with some 2x6s or some 2x10s for free backdoor steps.
I'll try and focus on that for the evening so as to forget about the bad :(
