These past few days have been great - except for yesterday morning when I didn't much want to be at work, but I got over it.
The shower was great. I really enjoyed throwing it; it was fun to come up with a theme and then working with it. Here's what the food looked like:
I think it was very colorful! The flowers were my favorite, I think. Thank you, Kroger!
So we had almost 20 people at the shower. It was a good number. We laughed and ate and played games.
After the shower, Eric, Chrissy, and myself went to see "Pirates of the Caribbean." Okay, so most of the reviews for the movie were bad, and I'll agree that the movie is confusing, but I don't care. I love the actors and the scenery and the ending! I want to go see it again. :o) After that we came back to the house and Marianne joined us. We watched the first "Pirates" movie and had pizza and laughed. Lindsy and Molly were supposed to join us, but they didn't. Boo.
On Monday morning, the three of us went to Old Navy. Chrissy tried stuff on and sorted through clothes. In the car on the way to take her to meet her mom, she noticed that her diamond was gone from her engagement. After some freaking out, we turned around and retraced our steps, looked in Old Navy, left our names and numbers, and then came back to the house to look here. Still no luck. So her mom met us here at the house and they left. It was a hectic morning, and I feel badly for Chrissy, but the diamond is covered under insurance, so she will get a new one.
The rest of the day was relaxing - Eric and I didn't do much ... it was nice. :o)
Yesterday was busy, but I made it through. Like I said, I wasn't too thrilled with being at work, but I got over it and worked hard. We have a big order going out on Friday (40 brownies, 40 packs of cupcakes, 40 single layer cakes) so we got a start on that, and did a few backups. I'm glad that Jesica is there. Yes, Jesica is spelled that way. After work, I went to T-Mobile to ask about the death threats that I keep getting from a private number. I'm out of luck unless I want to change my number. :o( I know it's from a wrong number, but it still freaks me out. I showered and had dinner, spent a few minutes with Eric, and then headed out to my first night at Ann Taylor Loft. We didn't do much - just filled out paper work and watched videos, but it was fun, I guess. I'm working again tonight. Wahoo. :o)
Today: go running, have lunch with mom and Eric, then take advantage of my new discounts. :o) Oh, and Weight Watchers should be great because this morning I weighed 155.6, which is ridiculous because I ate terrible this weekend! We'll see. :o)
