I kinda like this posting thing. Someone should have introduced me sooner. Just kidding, but anyway, the wife is gone again so I'm sitting here all alone. Tomorrow will be the same too, since she will probably be on the road with her mom at Centre.
So today I woke up with the wife and we showered and got ready. And then i got back in bed. You see....I had nothing to do yesterday. I had even less to do today, so why go in at 7 and fill up 9 hours, when i can go in at 8 and only have to fill up the normal 8 hours. Don't think I'm a slacker because I usually go in at 7 and have too much to do in a whole day, but when you switch jobs its hard to fill your days until you get acclimated. Oh yeah....my original thought was that my hair looks stupid today because i slept for an hour with wet hair. But I don't care...and I work with men, so no one cares.
And on a side note I just saw a commercial for taxact.com Supposed to be totally free including Efile. I don't believe it could be totally free, but check it out.
So we had a webchat with our CEO today. That wasted an hour and a half. Rob and I sat at my desk and talked the whole time. That was fun.
And I ate lunch with him at his desk. Man...can you tell I was excited at work today? After lunch the minutes stalled by, and then I finally had to go to the bathroom. I walked to the north end hallway but they were still redoing that bathroom so no luck. BUT my trip was not wasted. I walked by the kitchen and found the food table. Mmmmmmmmm. So yeah, I work in the Range department now. So, we still test for safety and reliability in our labs but we also have a cooking lab, where we compare and rate our units versus our old units and competitor units. So basically...they bake lasagna, turkeys, cornbread, shortcake, white cake, crescents, brownies, cookies and several other things too. So yeah, I found the table where they leave the food. Mmmmmmm. I had a brownie as I was leaving today. It had nuts but it was still yummy. I will be using that bathroom constantly once it is fixed. So yeah, we also left at 4:30 today. Rob's computer was locking up and I...well I just left.
Yeah, its almost time to eat some pasta probably...I'm lazy when I'm alone and then I'll hit up the bathroom sanding. I'll probably absorb a pound of dust into my lungs and skin..but its worth it. I also found out during work today that I will probably have to prime the walls...to even out the patches with the regular drywall. But that is okay...we are painting red, so we'll tint the primer and that will also help with the paint coverage. Just one more coat...no biggy. I would rather do it right, right?
