Thursday was a bit stressful ... busy, busy, busy. I stayed until almost 4 to get things done.

Friday was much of the same.

Saturday after work I went to Diana's to finish watching the UK/UofL game. That night Eric and I met some of his work friends and their significant others for dinner and drinks at The Pub at 4th Street. We didn't drink, though, because I had to work on Sunday. We had lots of fun and we are going to have a New Year's Eve Party with them. It should be fun.

Sunday I got to work before everyone and had a lot done before anyone else arrived. I stayed until only 1:30 because I was exhausted and had run out of icing. After work Eric and I did some Christmas shopping and had dinner at the Food Court at Oxmoor. Back at home we fell asleep watching the new "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie.

Today was a pretty good day at work - did the usual, then did two orders. I was out of icing so I set up the backups and will do them tomorrow. Mom and dad met me for lunch at Fazoli's and that was very nice. :o) From there I went to the Outer Loop Store to pick up bread (someone has to do it every week - that's where they bake it) and a bag of icing so I can do tomorrow's orders. I made it back to work at 3, unloaded the boxes of bread, and sped over to my consultation with Dr. Veal about my surgery on Thursday. I'll get some Valium pills on Wednesday and take one before I go to bed, then I take two when I get up on Thursday morning. Eric got a haircut, we looked at some very cute puppies at Feedersf Supply, I got some gasoline, and then we went home.

We got our first newspaper today. :o) We did the crossword puzzle together and had some riceroni for dinner, watched some of "That 70s Show" and then did some more Christmas shopping. We were very successful - we only have Eric's dad to find something for now. We've got everyone else something very nice, although I have a few friends I'd like to get some small things for, but I don't know if it will end up happening or not. I don't really have time! I have lots of things to do before I become incapacitated for a few days.

I'm terrified!!!!
