Friday and Saturday were really good days at work. I feel appreciated. :o) I got everything done on time and felt very efficient. I am loving it more and more ... especially because I know some things now.
Friday night we went to Haverty's and Best Buy. We bought five new movies because Eric got a gift Certificate. We bought "In Good Company," "Edward Scissorhands," " A League of Their Own," "The Princess Bride," and "Forrest Gump." We haven't watched Edward or Leauge of Their Own yet, but we've got time. Plus, it's not like I haven't seen them before.
Saturday night we went to B-Dubs with Jason, Lauren, and Kyle (and Josh showed up later). I had a Long Island Iced Tea and then had some more back at their house. It was a good time - the guys had a "dance off" in the basement and Lauren and I watched "Much Ado About Nothing" and then started "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves." We left around 11:30 and went straight to bed.
I've had a really good day off. I woke up at 8 this morning and Eric got up to make me breakfast. :o) So sweet. We went several places today. We went to Target to return a rug for in front of the door to the garage (it was too thick), and then we went to Value City. We found a loveseat that we liked that would have matched our couch, so we weighed the options and decided to just get the one that matches. So we had lunch at Jefferson Mall and then bought the "big chair" that matches our couch. Yay! So now we will have matching furniture and I am very excited about it. After we left there we drove to Raatz fencing but they were closed (just to get a quote), and then to Watson's. We found some kitchen and bar chairs that we really really like there, but we decided we had already spent enough money so we didn't buy anything else. When we got back home we fell asleep for a little while watching "Princess Bride," and then I made dinner. We had pastaroni, green beans, and a light Caesar salad. Woohoo. Now we're just sitting here ...
Another week begins ... although I only have two days and then another day off. :o)
