Sustainable Mommy

It was very strange to be up and at work so early on a Saturday morning, but I enjoyed the day. After cleaning all the salad bowls and making some cuban sandwiches, Kelly and I worked on backup cakes. I can do roses now - I am so excited. :o) It is going to open up my decorating abilities quite a bit. I took a picture of my very first rose and I will post it later once I actually get out of bed!

After work I came home and met Eric there and I took a nap while he played Grand Theft Auto. When I got up, I made dinner - Shake and Bake, noodles, and corn on the cob - and then we went over to Jason and Lauren's. Eric and I attemped to do some new dances on Dance Dance Revolution since the new version came out, and then we all watched "The Big Lebowski" because I had never seen it. It was pretty funny and I'm glad that I can now say that I've seen it.

So I've come to the conclusion that weekends are not going to mean much to me anymore because I have to work on Saturdays. However, this week absolutely flew by for me, so maybe that means that the weeks will do that from now on. I know that I should not wish my time away, and I'm not really ... I'm just always anxious for the future. That's a fault of mine, I know.

Alright, we are going to CLEAN today and hopefully get this house back up to par. Right now it's a mess.

It's beautiful again outside. Maybe I can get Eric to mow the lawn. :o)
