Sustainable Mommy

Fast day!

I thought we were late to music class, but we were the first ones there ... and 10 minutes later, nearly the only ones there! One other mom and baby finally showed up, so it wasn't quite as awkward! It was a good class, despite Violet being whiny most of the time. She's just taking her time getting used to the class. Duncan had a good time.

We headed straight to "mimipoppops" and I got lunch ready for both kids and then left to facilitate new mom's group at Mama's Hip. Good times. Cute babies! It's always fun to meet the moms whose placentas I've already done - it's a great moment when we silently say with our eyes, "Hey, you encountered a very personal part of me - I'm glad we're finally meeting!"

Headed back to my mom's, and Violet woke up as soon as I got there. Of course. :o) Back home by 4:30 ... we had soup for dinner, played in the basement until bath time, and then bedtime.

Might attempt to make quinoa patties with our leftover quinoa. They seem like they'd be good for our lunch at Adventure Club tomorrow.
