Violet was up screaming last night from 9:30 to 11 ... during which, Duncan also pooped in his underwear in bed. It was a crazy few hours, but was thankful that it was only 11pm and not 3am. They both settled down and I didn't wake up until the sun was up. Do you know what this means?! It means that Violet didn't wake up until the sun was up, too! She slept from 11 to 8, and so did I. Woohoo! Doubt it will be a trend, but one can hope.
After breakfast, we packed up and headed for the farmer's market. We bought a small bouquet of flowers (love having fresh flowers on our table!) and a cataloupe. We were going to head to Mark's, but Duncan had a fit because we let him have 6 animal crackers instead of the whole bag in the car, so we headed to my mom's and had lunch there. Grilled cheese, chips, and a caffeine-free Pepsi. One of my favorite meals. :o) Naptime was short-lived - Violet only napped from 12:45 to 2. Craziness. However, it was worth it for her to be up early, because this happened:
So excited. :o) We headed to the in-law's house for dinner (without Duncan since he was still asleep) and enjoyed dinner with family ... Duncan woke up shortly after we left. Probably won't see Elizabeth again until after the new baby is here! Violet was pretty fussy and tired while we were there, and probably more so than usual since it was kinda hot in there, too. The temperature hit 106 today! Back at home, we got Violet down quickly, and then played with Duncan until his bedtime.
Now Eric and I are down here, on our laptops, watching "Big Bang Theory." Typical. :o)
