This week

This lady on "Bringing Home Baby" has had lipstick on in every single scene. Hm.

I am trying not to watch "A Baby Story" at all (it's on during naptime) - I'm trying to stay in a positive frame of mind! So I usually watch the first 2 or so minutes and can guess the outcome (I'm awful, I know). Yesterday, I was able to watch an amazing home waterbirth. This mama was calm and it all lasted less than 3 hours. And she had a girl. Yes, I was bawling. It was good.

We've had a pretty successful week as far as sleeping goes. Nighttimes have been great in the new bed/room ... Duncan has recently started not wanting to take baths, though. Baths have been pretty short, for the most part. I have a feeling it has to do with either his fear that we're going to put him on the toilet or his fear of getting water/soap in his eyes. Either way, he doesn't enjoy bathtime right now at all until the washing is all finished and he can just play. Hoping it's a short phase.

I can't remember what we did on Monday, but on Tuesday we went to music, and yesterday we went on a walk with Adventure Club on the Anchorage Nature Trail. This morning we went to Waldorf and met Eric for lunch ... he left from there to buy wood at Lowe's to begin framing our basement!!! So excited. I know it's going to be a lot of work for him, but he loves it, and I am hoping that the majority of it can be finished before the baby is born. It will give us somewhere else to 'go' when we're home for the day after the baby is born.

Loving the warmer days. I am getting a lot more exercise.

Post some pictures of Duncan's new room!

Also, we may need some of Eric's tips on the pergola he built...Ryan is going to fence in our back yard and build one over our concrete patio. New neighborhood = no shade trees...and shade is a must in the South, as you know!
