My child is amazing

I'm pretty sure all children are amazing, but I just had one of those moments that makes me love my life even more.
Duncan was acting fussy, so I decided to put him down for a nap (sometimes he still takes 2 naps). I took him upstairs and laid him down and he screamed ... a sad scream. He will usually calm down after less than 5 minutes, so I came back downstairs. Well, he didn't calm down, so I went back up and picked him up and we sat down together in the glider. He held his baby and he laid his head against me and we just rocked. I asked him if he was sleepy and he nodded his head. We sat there for probably 5 minutes and he pointed to his crib. I asked him if he was ready to go to sleep, and he nodded his head again. I laid him down, told him I loved him, and he rolled over with his baby and went to sleep.
It just doesn't get any better than that.
In other news, the in-laws are coming over for dinner tonight and I still have no idea what to make!

Aww, that's the best:o) Have fun tonight!
Rock on, Duncan! Can he please teach Sarah Grace how to do that? She still requires an hour of patting, snuggling, etc. to fall asleep (not that I always mind but sometimes the routine is long and exhausting.)
