Sustainable Mommy

For some reason, all morning long I thought it was Friday instead of Thursday, so I showed up to playgroup at 10:30 only to realize that it doesn't start until 12! I felt even more bad about it because Trisha met me there for playgroup, too! Well, we just had our own playgroup, and had a good time! We met the boys for lunch at QDoba, which is always nice.

Went running this morning again. I need to find an alternative to listening to Pandora on my phone ... I'm so behind the times, haha. I have an iShuffle, but I have no idea where the charger is!

Breakfast with my friend was so nice, and I always love going to Lynn's. We had a lot to talk about! We sat at the "train table," so Duncan loved that.

Last night for dinner I made roasted vegetables mixed with some pasta, and it was mixed with sundried tomato pesto. Delicious! We're having leftovers tonight, along with some veggie nuggets for Duncan that he loves, and some corn on the cob that we need to eat before it goes bad. Slightly sad that we're out of salad greens tonight - we've been having salads with our dinner every night for probably a week, and I think it's such a good habit.

Duncan's up from his nap, so it's time to play until daddy gets home. Don't let the title fool you - 'playing' with a toddler for an hour and a half is not as easy as it sounds! At least tonight we're having the leftovers so I don't have to cook and play!
