I love the way they look, and we FINALLY, after 3 and a half years, have somewhere to keep our pots and lids. We will be replacing the handles, too, to match the new pulls on our kitchen cabinets, but that may be a few months. I also love the new rack Eric put up by the stove to hang all of our "most used" cooking utensils. The less we can keep in our THREE drawers, the better. Oh, did I mention that we have a junk drawer now? LOVE IT. It keeps our pens, scrap paper, and tape and scissors.
We had an exceptionally productive weekend! We purchased our couch on Sunday, but it's not in stock, so it will be here in a week or two. Worth the wait, I think! I called piano movers yesterday to get quotes to move our piano to the basement. It will be pricey, but it's worth it, too, because we taped out the outline of our couch on the floor (didn't last long, though, because Duncan found it right away) and having the piano in the room, too, just makes it look crowded.
Diana helped us figure out our "photo collage" for the wall last night. Hopefully we'll be hanging those up this week. Also last night, I did half an hour on our elliptical and we worked on cleaning up/out the basement. Clutter, BE GONE. It stresses me out.
I'm off to clean out under my bathroom sink until Duncan wakes up ... oh, spoke too soon. He's awake. Looks like that will have to wait until later.

Hey babe, looks like 2 of the 3 pics up top aren't showing up for me. May want to check it out - Love me
Looks awesome guys! I need help with the photo collage in entry way too! Ship her down here;o) I've wanted to do it for years, but it's too overwhelming. I've read to cut out newspaper in the shape of the frames to help outline the look? Is that what you guys did? Need pics of the final project for ideas;o) Can't wait to see it all in TWO WEEKS!!!!!!:O)
Jeanine - Diana brought over a huge piece of paper (like the entire size of the collage) and we laid all the pictures out on it on the floor. We traced the frames, then taped the piece of paper up on the wall. Tonight, we'll nail in the nails (through the paper) and then take down the paper. This was Diana's idea, and it's pretty dang nifty, if you ask me.
It looks great!!!
