Everything is crossed.

We had a showing on Thursday afternoon and they are coming back tomorrow morning for a second time! So I have everything crossed, I'm hoping and wishing and praying and doing everything that I can without bursting. Oh please, please, please let this be it. But me, get my hopes up? NEVER. Haha ... ha. After doing some research online, I've discovered that the second viewing is usually to view the "guts" of the house - appliances, water heater, fuse box, etc. In preparation for that ,we tidied up the basement, vacuumed, got rid of cobwebs, etc. Looks pretty good down there thanks to Eric! I have mopped the kitchen and foyer, and reorganized the pantry, refrigerator, and the two lower cabinets that contain our baking pans/pyrex/strainers, etc. Eric just had to run to work to start some test on the overlays (that aren't even part of his current program - everyone wants his help because apparently Eric is awesome [duh] and everyone else is not) and he's picking up some Blizzards on the way home. Yay!

I had a productive day after a rough night. Duncan was up at 12, 2, 4, 5:30, and then up for good at 8. I, however, could not stop coughing, so I was up a lot more than just that. I came downstairs at 6:30 so Eric could get some sleep. Thankfully, Duncan and I both went back down for naps at 9 and slept until 11. It was very nice of him. :o) I headed to CRS to pick up my check, then went to the new Target in Middletown. Snazzy! Back home, Duncan went down for a nap at 2 and I went to work on baking some more pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. I doubled the recipe since I have 2 events for which to cook this weekend.

Tomorrow: swim class, shower for Duncan/nap, Summit for a little bit, home, then the neighborhood party! The showing is between 11:45 and 12:15. Tomorrow will be a great day regardless of what happens with the house, but it has the potential to be an AMAZING day.
