Sustainable Mommy

Duncan woke up yesterday evening at 7:30 and it took us until about 11:00 to get him to sleep again. He slept in his crib until 4:15 and then Eric took him into the guest bedroom for the rest of the night so I could get some sleep. I'm getting sick. :o( One more thing, right? So I didn't feel good last night. Eric is such an amazing husband and father ... I don't know what I'd do without him. I slept until Eric left for work at 7:45, and then on and off with Duncan next to me until 10:30. I thought about staying home again today, but I really wanted to get out of the house, so I went to playgroup. Duncan screamed the majority of the time there, but I managed to take part in the pizza-eating and laugh a little bit. :o) I went to Babies R Us after that and met my mom there; I got some hangers, some wipes for when I go out, a cute outfit, and 2 Baby Einstein DVDs. Wahoo. Now I'm at home and Duncan is sleeping in the Beco on my chest. I'm going to attempt to get some sleep until Eric gets home.

Here's to hoping that this evening is more pleasant than the last one.
