Sustainable Mommy

I stayed home today ... I probably could have gone in to work, but I have one more sick day to use, and I also didn't want to take a chance of sliding on the ice. The weather people said it's not very bad in Louisville, but like I said, I'd rather not chance it. Tonight is our work Christmas dinner at Buckheads; hopefully it's not canceled! And hopefully the roads are okay later today. Can't turn down a free dinner. :o)

Last night, we put up (yes, WE!) half of the crown moulding in the nursery. What a difference it makes - it makes the ceiling look so much higher! And it makes the room look so much more balanced, too. We've got the hard parts finished - just the two longer walls to do. Other than that, we watched Monday night TV and also a thing about "making a high school musical." It was pretty interesting - but I love shows like that.

Today I am going to vacuum and clean the bathrooms. That's my goal, anyway, once I force myself to get out of my chair! Haha.
