Another nice weekend

On Friday night when I got home, Eric and I got our Christmas cards ready to send out. It was a speedy process! We met Heather and Rob at the Elks Lodge (Rob is member) for a fish fry that was actually really tasty. Then we ventured over to Walmart to do a bit of shopping. I think we've figured out what we're getting her kids, so that's always good. We headed home after that and watched some tv.

Class on Saturday was good, as usual, and we talked about the "second stage of labor" - i.e. the pushing stage. Sounds like lots of fun, haha. NOT. Anyway, after class we headed home and I pretty much napped until it was time to make dinner. Eric cut all of the pieces for the crown moulding while I did that. Elizabeth joined us for dinner and the two of us headed downtown for the Nutcracker. It was the same as it was last year, but I still enjoyed it. Got home around 10:00 and went to bed at 11:00.

Yesterday, we successfully slept until 9am. Haha. We had eggs and biscuits for breakfast, watched CBS Morning News with Charles Osgood, and then went to Home Depot, Target, and Half Price Books. At Target, we got a few small baby things, including a trash can that will serve as the diaper pail for our cloth diapers. After lunch, we started watching the 2nd "National Treasure." Mom and dad came over a for a bit, which is always nice, and we just talked and laughed and watched tv. After they left, we went to the grocery and picked up some necessities for the week. We had a healthy dinner (yeah right) of frozen pizza, and then we baked a frozen pie. It was just a healthy day all around! We attempted to put up on piece of crown moulding, but Eric's going to have to get some kind of saw to do something else to the pieces ... not sure what, but whatever works. As long as it's up before the end of the year. :o)

Weather is supposed to get nasty today - I may be leaving work early. I am not going to get stuck in an icy rush hour on the way home.
