28 week appointment

I never updated about my appointment yesterday! I got lots of information.
First, I weigh more than I have ever weighed in my life. Second, I'm not anemic! Yay! Third, my belly is measuring 33 weeks, which is surprising! Dr. Graves said that if I'm measuring this far ahead at my next appointment (on November 24), then we will do an ultrasound to see what's going on. However, Dr. Graves will be off that week, so I'll be seeing a different doctor. I don't mind, though. Let's see ... oh, I also scheduled my 32 week appointment for December 8th. Last thing was that I got a flu shot, and then I headed to work.
Choir was good last night - I feel almost prepared for our concert. Just a few more rehearsals and we'll be good to go.
It felt weird driving home to an empty house. I don't like it one bit! But I slept well and the work day is more than half over now. We've got all the rushes out for the day (and there were A LOT) and I'm feeling pretty good. I got my compression hose in the mail yesterday - WHOA is all I can say. I got my workout trying to get them on. Between trying to get them over my massive calves and trying to reach around my belly, it was a sight. I think that Mabel was amused, hehe.
Tonight I am going to Diana's to watch her pack and she is feeding me pizza. Sweet. :o)

5 Observations or Opinions:
Yeah, I used to put them on my older patients and it was quite a work out! Can't imagine having to put them on me while being pregnant ;) Was Dr. Graves worried about the measurements? Just wondering. Have a great rest of the day! See you in 10 days!
No, not worried at all. Just said we'd check next time and do an ultrasound to see if he's still measuring so far ahead. The only thing I've been able to find so far is that other people in the same situation were told that their fluid levels were too high. So who knows. I'll find out while you're here! :o)
Yeah, that's all I found as well. And that it's just a big baby!
I used to go to that same office.
If you happen to see Dr. Stokes - she is wonderful! I've been seeing her since age 16 and I've never, ever had a reason to complain. However, you may end up seeing someone else.
I'm going to be seeing Dr. Evans at my next appointment.
