Yay.

It was a wonderful weekend. We were very busy, but we had a great time.
Eric surprised me at work on Thursday with a bouquet of lilies and I left a little early. We picked up our pizza at Impellizeri's and headed to mom's house. During hospital class, we learned all about anesthesia - saw the needles, talked about side effects, etc. Important stuff, but makes me want to avoid the epidural even more. Ick.
On Friday morning, Chrissy and I were at ValuMarket to meet my mom by 8:30. We drove down to St. James, parked, and enjoyed the not-so-crowded morning. I found the only booth that I wanted and bought the picture that I wanted. Chrissy bought some cute baby stuff, and mom bought two small leather purses. We ate lunch at 11:00 and decided to call it quits around 1:00 (I think). It was getting really crowded. Chrissy I headed to the mall for some shopping and Lindsy met us there. I got some good stuff - a pair of pants and two shirts from Motherhood and then two camis and a shirt from Old Navy (I didn't try on the camis, though, and returned them on Saturday for another shirt). We headed home around 3:30 so we could nap before dinner. We met Robley at Carrabba's for a nice dinner and we had a great time. Back at home, we stayed up and talked about families and babies until almost midnight.
Saturday, we were a bit lazy in the morning and headed up to Huber's at 10:30. The pumpkin patch was really full and we had a lot of fun. We looked around the store, had a great buffet lunch, and then headed back to Louisville. We stopped at Babies R Us, where Chrissy bought me a shower gift (so she doesn't have to ship it later) - our bathtub and bathtime gift set - and we all looked at baby clothes again. Can't get enough of those. :o) After that, we stopped at Walmart so Chrissy could get some fabric, and then we headed home. We napped and then Eric and I left for the Ben Folds concert. It was great! He played a bunch of songs that I wanted him to play, and he even ended with "The Luckietst." Doesn't get much better than that!
Yesterday, Chrissy and I headed for the cemetery to visit Jeff before meeting my mom at Bed, Bath, and Beyond on Breckenridge. I got some shower gifts and then we all headed up to Bloomington for the shower. It was a very nice shower - we practically had this whole place to ourselves and the food was amazing. We laughed, talked, opened presents, and ate. We left for home around 4:30 and arrived back in Louisville at 6:30. Mom and I picked up some QDoba, then headed our separate ways. Back at home, Eric had busied himself with cleaning and doing some laundry (much appreciated, as always). He also went to Nonnie's visitation because she passed away on Friday. :o( I felt really badly that I couldn't go with him, but I couldn't do much about it. Not that I'd pass up a baby shower over a funeral visitation, but I still wish that I could have gone.
Anyway, so I guess that's pretty much it. Eric and I watched "Bowling For Columbine" last night - very eye opening - and then went to bed. I still feel exhausted from the busy weekend that we had, but I'll be okay by tomorrow.
I'm feeling bigger by the day now, and it's more effort for me to get up and down. Not complaining, though ... I love it.
