Fast week

So we had a windstorm on Sunday afternoon and had no power for a few hours (some still don't have power) and we just got internet back. We had it on Tuesday night, but it was spotty yesterday. Yay internet!
This week at jury duty has been a waste of time ... I've spent three hours just sitting in the jury duty room every morning this week, and then I head to work. Work is getting crazy - I've been staying late every day so I can be of more help since I'm gone in the mornings. I hope that today is the same - with my luck, I'll get called to a pool today, the last day, then get picked for a jury and have to go in tomorrow. Booooo.
Our birthing class at the hospital starts tonight (not the Bradley one) and I am very excited! It's from 7:15 to 9:15.
Not much else to say, except yay for 21 weeks! Baby is moving around a lot more - mostly in the evenings. I feel it more days than others. The picture for this week is weird ...
Baby gulps down several ounces of amniotic fluid every day, both for hydration and nutrition and to practice swallowing and digesting. And, these days, those taste buds actually work! Studies show that after birth, babies are most interested in tastes they've already experienced through amniotic fluid. Meaning, think about what you want your future child to eat as you prepare your own lunch.
I am really looking forward to Monday! FINALLY, we will know what we're having. :o) That is, if baby isn't shy, hehe.
