Sustainable Mommy

I thought that this week would pass by slowly, and it sort of has because it seems like my doctor's appointment was so long ago ... but here it is, Friday, and I'm so thankful. It has been a very slow week at work. The only day that I have stayed until 5 has been Tuesday. Wednesday I left at 3:30 and yesterday I left at 12:30. When there's no work, there's literally nothing for me to do. So I can either hang around and waste the owners' money, or I can go home. He told me himself that if I don't have anything to do, he totally doesn't mind if I go home. In fact, he "wishes I would."

So you may think I'm crazy, but we bought a crib off of craigslist yesterday. It's the one that I know I want, regardless of, well, anything, and it saves us $160. I got it for $40. So yay! It's the Jenny Lind style crib like this. It has a few knicks, but is in very good shape, and she gave me the mattress, too. Don't know if I'll use it, but hey, it was cheap. The lady also gave me a stroller for no extra cost! It's one of those lightweight strollers that cost $20. So yay for free stuff. :o)

This weekend we are going to hang out with Heather and Rob and Elizabeth on Rob's boat. Should be fun since there's some kind of festival or something with food. Haha. Other than that, Eric is going to work on the deck. Maybe I will work on cleaning up/out the office/nursery.
