Come and Gone ...

Another Thunder come and gone, another day full of memories and funnies. :o)

We arrived downtown around 2:00 for the baseball game and enjoyed watching the Bats kick some behind! Last year we lost, so it was good to see them win. We are really going to try to go some games this summer. GE has free tickets for all of the games, so we're going to take advantage of that. After the game I bought a Bats hat (a purple one, of course) and walked around for a little while with Chrissy and Janna. Once back, we sat in our seats for a little while longer and then decided to go inside the atrium thing where it was warm. We sat there on our blankets for a while and walked down to Bearno's for dinner. It was delicious and it was very nice to be warm for an hour or two! We got down to the waterfront around 9:10 and found a PERFECT spot on the Great Lawn. It was not nearly as crowded this year because of the cold - normally there would be nowhere to stand down there, but we found some open grass. The fireworks were fabulous, of course. We made a stop at Robley's to drop off Kelly and then we were home by 11:00. We always have extremely good luck with the traffic.

This morning we slept until 9:30 (except for Eric - he had to go do the slideshow at the early service) and had some scrambled eggs and toast for breakfast. We all got ready to go and after Chrissy and Jason left we went to Eric's parent's house to celebrate Heather's birthday. I gave her a Satin Hands set for her birthday and we had pot roast, carrots, and potatoes for lunch. Yummy! Then we had cake and ice cream and headed to my parent's house for a little bit just to say hi. We haven't been over there nearly as much lately! We headed to Target and bought a great mixture of things ... a bedskirt, some RainX, some soup for lunch, some sinus medicine, a cell phone car charger, and a trash can with a lid for our bathroom so Jack won't eat our QTips anymore! Haha!

Since we got home we've eaten dinner, worked out, and cleaned up the house. Oh, and we've done some laundry, too. Right now we're watching "Enchanted," which we also bought at Target. I love this movie!

This week ... choir, MK, then who knows? I would love to go canoeing next weekend, but it depends on the weather. Right now it's supposed to rain.

Thunder could be a lot different next year. At least, I hope it is. :o)
