Sustainable Mommy

I used to be a devout winter-lover, but I think that my tastes are changing. I still love snow and all that, but right now I am longing for those clear days in the 70s with the new leaves on the trees and all the flowers ... and when I can wear shorts and flip flops and not have to worry about being cold when I walk out the door!

Last week ... Tuesday night I had the high sales for the week at Mary Kay. Yay! I had a double facial on Wednesday night, got to relax on Thursday, and then a skin care class at Heather's on Friday night that was very successful! Ashley helped me out and I am so glad that she was there. :o)

Saturday ... Greta's wedding shower. It was wonderful, but difficult, too, because there were several pregnant people and several tiny babies. But I had fun. :o) Then I had a double facial with Marie and her sister and we went to Outback Steakhouse for dinner afterwards. We had a really good time!

Sunday ... lazy until brunch at Claudia Sanders with mom, dad and Uncle Jimmy. VERY good meal, though. Then we headed to the in-law's house for some family time and where everyone tried some samples and colors from Mary Kay (well, the girls did, not everyone, haha). Met Greta at mom's house and we tried some more colors and products, then had a nice late dinner at Cheddar's.

This week ... choir, choir, choir, and more choir. I also have a skin care class on Thursday. Tomorrow morning I have a dentist appointment and I will hopefully have a hair appointment on Friday. I am not working on Friday, so that will be nice. :o)
