So, remember how I said that it wasn't a call center? Well, it was. Oops. Oh well. It was good interview experience.
On Thursday after the interview I went to mom's house and just stayed in all afternoon. Mom hasn't been feeling too well, so she went to the doctor and found out that she has another sinus infection. :o( So she is taking a bunch of stuff. We went to the Ballard Choir Concert that night. It was ... different. Maybe it's just because I'm so distanced, but I feel like the choir when I was there was a lot better. I mean, for a HS choir they were good, but ... I don't know. It was weird.
Yesterday I went to work and finished up the weekend's cakes. I got home around 9 and slept for a little bit, had lunch, and cleaned the house. I vacuumed and did laundry and picked up the clutter. Eric and I had Chinese for dinner and watched "World Trade Center." It was kind of depressing, but I wanted to see it anyway. It was really good. We watched tv the rest of the night and went to bed around 11.
It never fails - Jack starts clawing at the bathroom door exactly at 7am. It's really weird. So I got up and let him out, then tried to sleep some more but he purrs so loudly that it's impossible to do that. So I got up and had cereal and a banana and now I'm here.
Today will be a good day for several reasons. I'm not 100% positive what we're doing during the day, but tonight is the ValuMarket Christmas party. Yay! I'm really excited about it.
