A World of Change

Williamsburg was absolutely wonderful. I would move there in a heartbeat, and so would my mom. We did mostly historical stuff, with some shopping here and there. We ate well, slept well, and learned a whole lot. I could write about each day, but that would take forever. I'll just hit the highlights.
Sunday night: Stayed at a Hampton close to Charleston, WV. Dinner at La Sha's.
Monday: Drove. Stopped at Tamarack. Got to Williamsburg around 5:00. Shopped, checked in, had dinner at New York Deli.
Tuesday: Historical stuff in the morning, carriage ride, lunch at Shield's Tavern, shopping, dinner at Carrabba's. Found out Seth and Jeanine are pregnant. :o)
Wednesday: Williamsburg Pottery, Jamestown, lunch at college pizza place, DeWitt Wallace Museum, Abby Aldrich Folk Art Museum, watched fife and drum corps march down the street, got stung by a bee, freaked out a little bit, dinner at Season's, Ghost Walk, dessert at Williamsburg Lodge
Thursday: Bassett Hall (house of Rockefeller's during restoration), lunch at New York Deli, shopping, nap, dinner at King's Arms Tavern
Friday: Williamsburg Pottery, Williamsburg Antique Mall, listened to Patrick Henry speak (Amen), lunch at New York Deli, shopping, Visitor's Center, dinner at Cracker Barrel, 1706 Witch Trial in Capitol by candlelight
Saturday: Historical stuff, lunch at King's Arms Tavern, fife and drum corps, more historical stuff, one last short round of shopping, dinner at Huzzah, A Capitol Ball by candlelight (puppet show, singing, dancing)
Sunday: drove all day, home by 5:30
It was wonderful. The weather was perfect the whole week and we had just wonderful time.
Now I'm at home, back to reality. I've giving my notice at work. I wrote Sara and Derrick a very nice letter and I'm dropping it off in a little while. I'm working until the day before Thanksgiving. Long story short, if I don't hear about a job by the time I'm done at Valu, I'll get a holiday job and continue to search. I've spent about 6 hours looking at jobs today ... good prospects. :o)
That's all. I know I'm crazy.

3 Observations or Opinions:
Oddly enough, I was also at Tamarack last Monday.
Wow, that is weird! We were there early in the morning, but that is cool!
Why aren't you blogging anymore? I need something new to read;) How's the job search going? Any leads? We have our first doctors appointment tomorrow morning. We get to hear the heartbeat and see the little bean baby on the ultrasound. Very excited and a little scared.
