Thankful!

I have to come up with something that I am thankful for today because Carol is going to read them during our prayer before the meal. Hm. Here's my top then, though some of them may be a bit cheesy:

I am thankful for the wonderful people in my life: my husband, my family, my friends, and my co-workers.

I am thankful thank I feel safe and loved.

I am thankful that I am able to look for a new job (PS I have an interview on Monday!)

I am thankful for my singing voice.

I am thankful for the changing weather and all the chaos is brings.

I am thankful for this country and the freedoms that it allows, no matter how messed up the economy or the government seems.

I am thankful for all of the beautiful places in this world and that we are able to enjoy them.

I am thankful for my mobility.

I am thankful for wonderful food.

And finally, I am thankful for every day that God has given me to live, no matter how impatient or ungrateful I may seem sometimes.

Yay. :o)

The interview is with a Advertising, Marketing, and Public Relations place in J-town ... less than 10 minutes away! I emailed my cover letter and resume and the guy emailed me back (the owner of the company - I think it's pretty small) about 15 minutes later, haha. So the interview is on Monday at 3 and I applied for both of the positions they have open ... Media Buyer (which is what Marianne does so I will have to talk to her about it and get some info, although I do know the general idea!) and Account Executive. I think I could do either one pretty well. :o) I think it would be pretty cool if Marianne and I had the same job, though, haha.

Today is going to be so wonderful. Making mashed potatoes during the parade, then going and hanging out in a crazy house FULL TO THE BRIM of people that I mostly only see a couple of times a year, and then sleeping for a bit before Chinese food, and finally getting to see some of my favorite people at Molly's house while eating all the Homemade Ice Cream and Pie Kitchen stuff I can. Haha.

I love Thanksgiving.
